Ways2Work
Are you a school, college, community group or individual who would like to know more about the world of work?
Are you a business or trades person who would be happy to share information about your role and experience, or provide advice and insights about the world of work?
Delivered in partnership with businesses our Ways2Work programme centres resources around confidence building, raising aspirations, opportunity awareness and guidance about entering the world of work. The programme is a great opportunity for leaners to engage directly with the business community in Croydon and get advice and support directly from business employees from a huge range of different industries.
If you are an individual, we offer a CV Repair Service, interview support and, depending on availability, 1:1 mentoring. Please contact us first to discuss your needs.

Work Experience @School Week
Do you often have students unable to find work experience or work placements? We want to support schools and college by offering self-contained inter-active career sessions for those students who have not found a placement. Ideally, we would find 10 different industries to cover the morning and afternoon slots in that week.
Career Fair Support
From a simple 10-minute chat to an all day stand.

Entrepreneurship
Our workshop invites local entrepreneurs to talk to students about their experiences – why they decided to set up their own business, challenges they’ve faced and what has worked well.
“I’ve worked with Croydon Commitment for five years, and the experience has been invaluable for my Level 3 students. Exposure to professionals from industry, significantly boosts their confidence and strengthens their communication skills. Seeing the positive interaction between business ambassadors and students, is incredibly life-affirming.”
